This was on Sunday May 3rd ,Took a pic and released

spawned out rainbow trout. looks like a non native. female - some call it steelhead because it has little or no pink stripe. looks like it may have been late to river spawned and got back to lake water before going dark in colour. common of rainbows that spawn near mouth of river and do not stay in river. have caught several like this at this time of year in Maitland and suggeen rivers.

that is definately a brown,caught lots like that on lake huron ,spots of the gill plate are a give away
