I believe it was colder last year ? at this time.
I had mine on and was still cold and wet lol when I dropped though the ice brrr ?

according to TWN Erie has only .6% of ice coverage, if you look at the radar images they show LPB has just the tiniest portion of it

You're not doing anything wrong that I can see unless you didn't have your lifejackets on or drinking beer. Other than that someone is just probably jealous because you were fishing and they weren't.
