Finally!

The 6 pm CTV news just did a story on the pier. The Pt Stanley west pier is going to be repaired for 2+ million dollars (that's a lot of Mackies fries with special sauce) and pedestrian access will be allowed again. It should be done just in time for perching next year. Used to have some real good perch days there when it was open.

Great News wildeye rainbow.I remember back in the 70th`s catching Smelt`s off that Pier at Night,and of course Perch during the day.Great Times!! The only difference now would be is, that they have installed Parking Meter`s there,Pounds of Perch could be costly fishing through the Day.
