They were absolutely wrong on Thursday too. It was supposed to be 9-10 SW early. At 8 am - 1:00, it was flat, barely any wind, yet rained a bit earlier. Then it cleared up to be a great day fishing
@Extra Virgin was that calm looking water on your video taken in your boat channel? lol Just kidding my good friend!! A “Thumbs Up!” for that great looking perch in photo #2 ,and many more perch like that perch for you!
I anchored in about 7.2' between Collins and St Williams. Dropshot was never ending perch, and sorting. I switched to a slip bobber so i could eat my sandwich and had better luck with larger and braver fish coming up a few feet. That being said, all the Jumbo's came off the dropshotNice haul e.v still in the 7.5 fow range
Very nice E V, wish I had of came down but the rain here said no…
dont mind "chilly' cuz i can dress for it----when it gets to be darn right cold THAT"s when i chicken out and stay homeNice going weather down the road looks like going to be chilly……
Beauties there @Extra Virgin and enjoy your perch fry!!Solid day fishing and could have limited out quickly with perch in the third photo. Ended up keeping 32 for a family dinner
When are they ever right about it?The weatherman couldn't have been more wrong
It doesn't get cold here, let alone "damn right cold" Gorddont mind "chilly' cuz i can dress for it----when it gets to be darn right cold THAT"s when i chicken out and stay home
Even a broken watch is right twice a day… Sometimes you just gotta pick a day and hope for the best. You can’t get into too much trouble in the inner bay in anything short of a hurricane. Koodos to you E.V. for just going anyway. Enjoy the fruits of your labour. Today is the day I should have run out to Bluff Bar. I wouldn’t have taken quite the beating I did getting yesterday. The weatherman couldn't have been more wrong about today
