@Fishboss a nice selection of lure’s & congratulations!! But,if the last lure would of been a “RED” colour Herring, instead of the Purple Herring,it would definitely be a “rainbow catching machine!!” lol good luck in catching some rainbow’s this year & beyond. See you on the water, regards, @Red Hering —uncle red

I’m excited to hear your tail!! I have some new ones coming out shortly Check classifieds here. You can’t have enough harnesses. The high demand Lymans are out of my pocketbook range.
The only lure purchase for me this year will be a very specific 5 @fishing or farming harness buy.
Sure hope he makes me some dandys cuz I'm going to review them.
I'll be in touch soon @fishing or farming .
The original lymans have become more a commodity for the collector than those of us that fish them. I do both, I have my collection and then those that I have for fishing. Prices have taken off like crazy since COVID as some of us had more time to look for these things and also those that wanted them for collecting came onboard. Prices have doubled since COVID.I've had a lot of action on the creeks and rivers using small 2" J-plugs for bows as an alternative to flat fish/kwikfish/hotshots... are the original lyman just that much better than the J-plug or is it just nostalgia that commands such high $$$?
Any information or photo’s @HBC of the more desirable ones that can fetch $200 or more each?? I am just curious & thanks in advance. Are you talking about 4" lyman? If so, what the collectors call "commons" typically sell for $30 - $35 ea. The more desirable ones can fetch $200 or more ea.
Very nice. The second and third from the bottom are worth slightly more ($40 - $50 in mint condition) than all the others which are commons. Collectors won't pick them up if the lips have wear but us fisherman would for a reduced price. For me, the greens have been top producers over the years and also the Owen Sound Specials (black ladderback on a white glow plug). If anyone wants those, I have probably close to a dozen.these are mine.
