Went 4-7 today until the 4ft waves pushed us off of St Clair.
All fish were caught on the lake.
River is a zoo still

River had few boats today & few people chucking from shore.
Manly fished the lake again with no luck.
We ran 2 boats but no fish today.
Talked to a couple of guys fishing the river & also no fish.
Hoping tomorrow is better!

Fished this weekend, 2 boats with 8 anglers, managed to get 10 skis in the boat over two days, all on soft plastics at the river mouth

Went 2 for 3 at the mouth trolling at the casters & just out of the mouth.
Both smaller just under 40

Did nothing but troll the river & the mouth.
Anywhere from 3.5-4.0mph.
Green & yellow body baits were the ticket

Weekends are a complete gong show if the weather is decent(Even in the river).
We got fish right to Jeannettes creek mouth.
So the river is holding lots of Musky.
Picture is the mouth one day

Is there a public launch right near the River mouth
@rickr, I understand the ramp at Lighthouse Cove underwent a makeover this year...
I haven't used it since the makeover. Before, there was nothing to tie to or hold on to. It was a

The ramp at lighthouse is free and was redone last year.
There is some wood along the concrete to rest against. I would not want to tie my boat too it.
The bad part of the ramp now is there is only about 6 parking spots available on the pier.
If you're not there first thing, they will be filled.
The jeanettes creek ramp is available and free, but the small walkway has been taken out. So it is also a bit of a pain in the a$$ now too.
Good luck if you get down there.

But the good news is they also pulled the random polls that were sticking just out of the water at the Jeanettes creek ramp. No need to worry about putting a hole in your hull from one of the poles.
Watched them take them out Oct 23rd
