Our yearly trip up to lake superior for musky and pike was a success. Nothing but great weather and good times. Here are some of the better fish enjoy

Nice, minus the open booze on the boat......the number of pics I see on social media of guys fishing in high powered watercraft with open liquor is disturbing. Always makes me wonder when I see people driving their boats like idiots.

Great looking fish @Andy renneberg, thanks for sharing . My musky-addicted buddies will be drooling over these photos. They never mention Lake Superior as a musky destination, but maybe should be on the list.

Drinking on the boat leads to more trouble than it’s worth. Nothing wrong with enjoying yourself. But if the police show up you can’t really hide it well.
At least with a roach In the tackle box they may mistaken it for a dried up Minnow

Thanks yeah great muskie place they stock lake superior pretty good now lots of giants up there . Been dialing it in more and more every year

Some tend to look down upon others and expect everyone to bow to their superiority. No point trying to reason with such people....
But yes, I had no idea Superior held such fish and this may be the first time I have ever heard of people targeting Muskie. Nice job! But after these pics I can see plenty more people heading up there. There should be some massive fish in there considering the size of lake?

Josh has a very valid point cause if they would have caused an accident and booze was on the boat or the driver was found to be drunk people would be saying something different. Enjoy your time on the water and be careful and respectful. Sure the guy may have been a passenger etc. but if something happened to him then the owner of the boat is responsible.

Well arent we jumping to conclusions over a picture here? I can only see one can, which may or may not contain alcohol in it. The guy post fish pictures and may have found an empty can out there floating, it happens. Judging by his size I'm guessing he could have 20mg in his system which at best is an open alcohol charge,and that's if there is still alcohol in the can. Hes not impaired. Bit much going to your CBC article. I havent talked to Elmer the safety elephant yet, so he can make the call.
