What is the Water Clarity Like in LPB and Bluffs?

With all this wind lately does anybody have a report on the water clarity in the Bay and Bluffs Bar? Hoping to get out soon, but don't want to get down there to find the water is all stirred up.

Was out off of Rowan for perch yesterday . About 8 fow. Water was a little cloudy. Could see down maybe 3 ft

how big do the waves get in the Long Point Bay. I have Friday off and the big lakes are too windy. Thinking about fishing bass and pike in the bay.

Plenty of small ones to sort through

we ended up with 41 from 8” up to 11”

likely about 5 hrs.

others stayed about as long

maybe one of them will post how they did

West or southwest is good if you hug the weeds and shore
lots of bass and pike around
plenty of weeds too
you’ll need weedless rigs in there
After perching yesterday we went to the weeds for about 1 1/2 hours
about 12 largemouth and lost 2 pike
we released the bass

the commercial guys have their nets set in there as well. So I wouldn’t recommend running around in there after dark

Thanks for the info. Too bad the wind is strong from the North East Friday.
