[Could get Ugly]

Headed down to Port Bruce around 4pm. It was a little choppy at first and then the lake laid down. Ran out to 51 fow and dropped our lines . One leadcore. One dipsy. One on the rigger. Marked tons of schools. Washed a lot of lures. Didn’t get a bite. Took a few photos of the scenery since the fish weren’t cooperating. Time to change with the season and target other species. It was a good walleye season. Good luck to those who are still going out there.

Hold on let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water. One bad outing doesn’t mean walleye fishing is over for the year. There’s plenty of fish around maybe not big numbers but still some great weather for a day on the lake.

I love your way of thinking @Reardrag it’s fishing for me all the way,for I don’t hunt & the Fall fishing season is my favourite,for perhaps a chance to catch trophy fish,such as pike,largemouth & smallmouth bass,jumbo perch,etc.,etc. Tight lines & Fish ON!!

Great photo’s & fishing post, @Could get Ugly but not the same results for you yesterday with your friend,like the last time when the both of us went out walleye fishing out on your boat,a few week’s ago,( photo’s),which of course were different times back then,because of the amount of walleye’s around at that time on Lake Erie. At least you gave it a try ,(while I was painting),and thanks again for your invite yesterday,but on a short notice around 2:30 p.m.,for I still had to pack up my fishing gear,etc. lol Tight lines to the rest of your fishing season & we will keep in touch,my friend!!
