It's funny how are memory works, wife asks do you remember are wedding night or when are kid was born? Ahh no clue.... But back in 07 we got three weeks of solid black ice late February

It's funny how are memory works, wife asks do you remember are wedding night or when are kid was born? Ahh no clue.... But back in 07 we got three weeks of solid black ice late February

I remember that year in 2007 @Rjohn I got a great deal on a portable 2 man “pop up” ice hut from @ANGLING OUTFITTERS early in February,when a lot of tackle places were giving up on the ice fishing season!! The perch fishing on long point bay wasn’t too bad either that year in 2007!!

Yea it’s ice , not quite frozen across but close , it’ll freeze up quick if the wind would slow down

@dickie you are seeing ice,which has been very rare in the past year’s,especially on long point bay,and you are not hallucinating!! lol Here’s hoping for a ice fishing season this year & tight lines & perch ON!! to All!!

Went for a walk today no wind. Water still open by ec 10 though. Here a pic
