Headed out to the pressure crack at dawn, picked up a few keepers and lots of throwbacks. Had piles of close neighbors move around me so I decided to move, glad I did! Non stop perch and pike action in my new spot, they are even hitting bare hooks!

I had to pull my lines up to take an uninterrupted lunch break (y) little windy out here right now but much better than last weekend's winds

Good for you @Extra Virgin !! 👍👍 I was tempted to go out again today, after such a successful day of perch fishing for me yesterday, but I have my limit of perch & I am still cleaning them as of now,and I am almost 😅 done!! 50 perch is enough for me,and they should last me for awhile. 🐟🐟😋😌 Also, rumours has it that the parking lot 6F676337-3414-46F9-B09D-BF85B9A2A4DE.jpeg up the Hill where I parked yesterday for $5.00 was closed for the ice fishing season starting today. I know that there is parking down the hill,(where you likely parked at dawn),but very limited 09C8BBC2-1CD4-4E9A-96AC-785AFF5CCEE8.jpeg near the ice hut rental businesses, but a angler must almost camp overnight there to guarantee a parking spot there,to be able do some ice fishing out on the bay!! By the way, what’s with the portable ice hut & a heater with a video camera inside your ice hut?? 😳 Isn’t that cheating!!😳 😱😏 lol 😆 😉 Here I thought that you were a tougher 💯% Canadian, like @Red Hering was yesterday, standing out in the “Blustery” wind for 8 hour’s (video),& @Red Hering was still catching a limit of perch!! LOL 😝!! Just joking 🙃 my friend!! 😁👊👊😉 Enjoy your perch & pike fry,for it could be the last day of ice fishing on long point bay.Rain & milder double digit temperatures with very strong winds are forecasted for tomorrow!! 😒 Come on to the soft water season 🥰 on long point bay!! 🚤🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟👍👍😎

I got here shortly after 5am, hardly anyone here at that time. I'm unsure about the parking at the top of the hill but i know the one at the bottom is closed. Operators are done after today, so salt your leftovers and fingers crossed lake Erie bait and tackle have some for the remainder of the season

Ended the day with 15 keepers. Could have limited out on 8-9" earlier in the day, but since the Hastings heydays I am very selective on my harvest of 50 as it makes for a long day of filleting. I am sure this will be the end of the 22 ice season, so I am looking forward to mid May to return to St Williams 👍

Thanks for posting @Red Hering That shot of the cars parked along th road near the top of the hill. Holy S**t ! My if says good thing we didn't go anywhere near St. Williams that day. They must have been giving out free "Virtual Hot Dogs" that day. LOL ! We we at St. Williams on a quiet day during the week a while ago. A few dinks . Stay safe, @Huron.

I agree ex virgin,im also selective on my harvest of 50. Other than air bladder issue with the fish,i never keep any less than 10 in. I shake my head every time i see peoples catches with these puny fish with no meat on them
