Who does skeg repair close to London?

Had a skeg repair done through Xtreme Marine, nice job. They send out to someone local. Maybe Rob or Bob will tell you who they use.

I've heard very bad things about the caps/covers.
When you hit them they will break off and trash your prop.

I also agree with @stackman1 because of my nephew having his skeg repaired through Xtreme Marine,and he was quite happy afterwards with the result after the job was done.

I have a 75hp merc with the cap. Bought it that way 10+years ago. Have had no issues. I my opinion the way it is mounted with 2 bolts if you hit something hard enough to break the cap ur prop is probably screwed anyways.

I also had one done at xtreme marine, was pretty banged up when I bought it and came back mint from xtreme, good guy there as well
