@Red Hering I have only caught bass and rarely pike on jitterbugs. This was a surprise to say the least.

You can fish for walleye at the elbow, but fishing ain’t catching and the elbow has never been good to me.

I’ve caught one walleye once at Bluffs, but that was actually while casting a spinner bait along the weed lines for bass/pike back when I had my bass boat.

Truthfully the only eyes I’ve ever caught at Long Point have come from south of the lighthouse. When it’s calm I love it out there though. Maybe 21 miles from the dock but the scenery and peacefulness (and fish) is food for the soul.
