Fishing Report Port Stanley Walleye Aug. 17th

I keep it real simple... I just call it the black and pink one. πŸ˜‚
I just call it the black and pink one & lol πŸ˜‚ @Wave Runner I just went through all of my spoons & it is a Silver Streak (glow back on my lure at least),and it is called,”Lights Out!!” πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ™‚

Yeah it's hard trying to remember every colour as there are so many. The main stays I can remember but the others who knows. 😁
I just realized @Wave Runner that mine doesn’t have a eye πŸ‘ glued on my β€œLights Out” lure!! πŸ€”Did the eye πŸ‘ get lost in battle while I was fighting a walleye or rainbow trout with it?? 🧐 πŸ˜—πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ™‚

Maybe during production it accidently got punched in the eye by the machine and that's why they call it "lights out." :giggle:

A great catch Wave Runner. We were out in 67/68 fow, yesterday, on at 9:30, off at 2. Ended up with 10, most of a decent size, lost 6, all caught on perch RR. A grand day to be out.

Thanks @Roostr... happy to hear you did well out deeper on bigger fish. Hoping to go to Glasgow on Friday so will definitely try deeper this time. We only went as deep as 64 ft. at Stanley but can get to 68 ft. at Glasgow in half the distance. Congrats on your catch yesterday. πŸ‘ :)

Hopefully get out again Friday as well. Anything inside of 65 was a dead zone yesterday. We trolled out from 55-71 then back in at days end to 55, never a sniff with few marks other than a couple at 57. Hopefully the Walters turn back on by Friday !

You certainly did well on the bows yesterday. Good luck with the wallys on Friday if you go! 😁

Sounds as good as usual Bob. Hope to try for Walleye next time out. Still very little happening on this side of Long Point. Folks are getting a few but haven't heard of a limit catch to date.

Darren and I thought we would give Stanley a try just for a change of pace. We went 30-34 today putting 18 little guys back for next year. I was hoping we would catch less short ones than we have been getting each trip out of Glasgow but we couldn't keep them off. I guess they must be everywhere which means we have a good future for walleye. Both Dipsys back 120-130 ft. and riggers down 40-45 ft. were firing well this morning. This year's trend continued for us as every fish was caught on spoons except for a few on RRFs. We fished 59-64 ft. but 59-60 ft. was best and only had 1 silver and 3 sheep to annoy us. It was another great day on the water after a week of windy weather that kept us off until today. 😁

β€œ A great” β€œTwo Thumbs Up!!” πŸ‘πŸ‘ by Darren who seems to be a very happy angler!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™‚

Oh yeah he says it beats catching gobies off the Bruce pier any day. πŸ˜‚
lol πŸ˜‚ Darren!! πŸ‘ŠπŸ‘Š πŸ™‚ and I wouldn’t know about catching gobies at port bruce @Wave Runner lol πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‰ for I never fished port bruce that day,(I only just had lunch there πŸ˜‹πŸ˜Œ),and I ended up catching gobies instead in Port Stanley,(read red sign in the last photo),after I left port bruce. πŸŽ£πŸŸπŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ™‚
