North Erie Marina and Port Burwell Marina is currently looking for part time, may lead to full time, boat launch crew. Marinas located in Port Bruce and Port Burwell. Must have own transportation.
Successful applicants will be required to work ALL weekends including ALL long weekends throughout the boating season Mid June till Mid Sept. Must be available for early shift 5am
We are looking for:
- a RELIABLE person
- Trustworthy
- Clean Record
- Hard working
- Self starter able to work with or without supervision
- Boating experience (Being around boats and the water)
- Physically Fit
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must enjoy working outdoors and around people
- Ontario Pleasure Craft Operators Card a Plus
Duties will Include:
- Launching boats
- Directing traffic
- operating golf cart to chauffeur customers to and from vehicles
- selling live minnows
- cleaning minnows tanks
- pumping gas
- collecting money
- yard maintenance/ landscaping
- ensure clean and tidy washrooms
- general repairs using various tools (hammers, saw etc.)
- dealing with customers and general public
