Just curious if anyone has been to the London boats and outdoor show

Debating if its worth making the drive from Kitchener

I thought the 2022 show was cancelled. Web site says 2023??? I guess you can get your tickets really early!

The London Boat and Fishing show was cancelled this year. It was scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 13-14 but was a no-go due to covid.

I went once, about 5-6 years ago, and it was pure torture. Saw a whole bunch of stuff I couldn't and still can't afford, or didn't necessarily "need" but what I saw was REALLY nice to look at. Surprisingly I walked out with the same amount of money in my wallet that I had when I walked in. Not sure if it was an overabundance of will power, :nailbiting:or just the echoing words of the boss lady saying to me as I walked out the door to go, "you don't need it."

:unsure:Funny how that works, I don't "need" anymore fishing gear, but when I say that about her shopping for clothes, purses, shoes, etc, she still comes home with something.o_O

still lots of money to be spent at Extreme............ just saying....... real interesting windot worms in a nice plastic case, still have a few purple.

Toronto Sportmans Show Mar 17th to 20th at the International Centre, lots of ad on the Wild Channel.

Might be something new for me to kill a few hours/part of a day, but since I have nothing specific to buy this year, I will wait for the full exhibitor list before I commit to throwing away the $20.00. 🌻

Last time I went maybe 6yrs ago by myself as wife and kids weren't interested. Figure I was only in there for about two hours. Between gas, Parking and admission it cost me over $50 back then. Only thing I bought was a chunk of wild game summer sausage. That was it for me.

Be ok if didnt have to go to da big city

Spoke to my neighbour today about going to it for something different to do when it's on.

Wasn't very excited saying it's turned somewhat into a flea market from what it used to be.

Probably be keeping my $$ in my pocket. 🌻

I liked it better when they had a beer tent at the London show, now you have to into the casino for a pint. I actually remember back in the day writing my boating exam in the bar because there were no seats left..... should have been a sign......

It's not down town toronto anymore

It's at International center by airport

Free parking

I'm looking for quebec moose hunting outfitters
And hoping to find a rec kayak with a good seat
