Those minnows are smelt. The tugs trawl for them as well out at the elbow to lighthouse. Good post. @Extra Virgin

The multi fish thumbs up will take some practice,but be careful of the fish with teeth!! Especially on walleye’s & pike,and muskies as well!! lol

You say I use too much pepper?
There is no such thing.

My wife brought home this fantastic pepper mill that uses 3 AA batteries that pumps out fine to heavy grind by the boat load. It even has a light in the bottom.
Thought I saw the same unit at the stag shop

There was a water clarity transition right at the tip which produced well for us. After fighting one of the bows, we ended up shallow on the north side and trolled in the 50-60fow which also produced. Others in my park did well on the south side too. I also found a pair of lopsided "structures" while out there....

I leave it on to drive him nuts. I also pack some of my kids goldfish crackers, and may snack on them when the ID goes off
So weird. Heres a pic of two fish from Saturday. East of lighthouse. The walleye was jammed with smelts the same size as your photo. The bow was so stuffed with gobies i cant believe he hit our lure….. go figure? Glad you had a good trip. Its picking up on the East side for sure.

Evil. As the oldest of 6, I respect your game...I leave it on to drive him nuts. I also pack some of my kids goldfish crackers, and may snack on them when the ID goes off
