Yes, there is water in parking lots but no problems launching. The park is full of weeds so it can be hard to get out. No weeds at Old Cut.

The water level has been dropping since this past weekend.All the boat launches,Sandboy Marina,Old Cut Boat Livery,Post Marina,etc.,were being used on the south shore from what I heard.I used the Long Point Provincial Park boat launch last friday and saturday,and the biggest issue for myself and other boaters that I have talked to then was the the high water to walk through just below the kneecap,and the weeds in the main channel from the boat launch to the bay.The outboard motor’s had a tough time cutting through the weeds!! I am guessing that the weeds are likely cleared out by now,with all of the boat traffic that has gone through the channel from over the last weekend.Here are some photo’s of a “packed” parking lot from last saturday as I was leaving around noon hour from Long Point Provincial Park.I hope that this information helps you @wads44 and enjoy this great weather that we are having now. ??

Just plan your launching on the wind direction, i have seen the water dissapear and reapear as the wind changes in one day.

Well I decided to try a different marine on the north shore and I am happy to say they raised there boat slips and the launch. It was great, dry feet ?

I also was impressed how clean the marine park was. ?
I heard the old owner pass away not sure who runs it now it was my first time there.

I have used that boat launch in the past @Jumbojim and I like the fact that there is plenty of parking there,and the boat ramp has a nice quick drop to it to float a boat with great ease.The only disadvantage that I don’t like is,that it is quite a boat ride from Shady Acres all the way to Bluff Bar if that is were someone would be going to fish that day.Sorry to read that the old owner has passed on.All the best & fish ON!! ? ???
