A excellent question @Hossfish and who really knows? I personally cancelled my ice fishing trip today which I had planned from earlier this week,because of the mild weather and of all of the excessive amount of rain from all day yesterday.I would think that it would be very unsafe,(just my opinion),and no fish is worth your life.On a plus side,the colder temperatures are coming back to harden up the ice again.Be safe & tight lines whenever you plan to go ice fishing.

I doubt it'll be safe today but planning on going Saturday with the cold temps hoping it'll be soils @Red Hering. Tight lines fish on.

I called R&R today because I have a hut booked tomorrow for 4 guys.
They said they were running huts today with no issues.

Does anyone know if to walk out from the old cut marina without a hut rental you can still buy a parking permit from R&R? And any idea if they have minnows for sale? Planning to go out Saturday morning.

Was out today from St. William’s. Ice is fine (7 inches where we were). Some slush on top, but will freeze soon. Was a slower day.

We normally walk a km to get to 6 ft depth @wads44

Can catch then shallow in 3ft of water.
