Hi all
I know this is an old time-lapse video, but I wondered if anyone had found anything more recent? I know the sensor network in Lake Huron has been improved over the last 10 years leaving only a few spots not covered. But I cannot find a newish migration video.
BTW 2022 was our best season ever at portfrankscharters.com I know it sounds cheesy but #Ilovemyjob ! Here's a taste of how the season went gallery

Those vids are a good start to understanding Walleye migration but you need to take into account that the tagged fish are only captured in known areas and don't give a full representation of the lakes population 😉

Select by species and you can see all projects in the GLs, you can filter for a variety of elements. I attended a session a few years ago put on by some of the leads for this project, and the way they described it, the telemetry will continue to register for tagged fish, its just a matter of if they are studying that particular aspect of fish behaviour. Pretty sure it was conducted by the University of Windsor Fisk Lab https://www.fisklab.com/copy-of-salmon-and-trout-behaviour-1
I'm sure you could send an enquiry to the authors for updates - as you are a charter Capt, they may well be interested in feedback from you for their studies.
