My dad was always eating syrup on chocolate ice cream when I was younger
Got me on it too, definitely where junk food addiction come from

My father was determined for sweetness.

Black tea, 3 heaping spoonfuls of sugar. If it isn't sweet I'd rather have cold water.

Lyle's Golden Syrup, kept in the fridge so he only needed one spoonful to get enough. LOL

@hvyhaul I put 6 pieces of your french toast in front of @stomp just now and his walkway is going to be a trek about 5km to burn it off. Oh yeah, and I devoured a "few" myself!

I wasn't lying, if restaurants used it they couldn't keep up to the demand.

(I ve got a Carrot and Swiss Cheese Casserole to share, but it would likely be @stomp 's demise)

OMG, this board's gonna be the death of me! How long has it been since Ms Stomp got this forum happenin? Two, three months? I have yet to read a recipe that hasn't had me salivating by the time I read the whole thing. Now the challenge is to find some good maple syrup while under the new lockdown rules.
