Still keeping busy trying new things with the jet boat 😁 Decided to fish some less remote Steelie water with a couple friends the other day, we were able to use the boat to access water not accessible to the guys on foot. Lotsa laughs and fun and a good number of fish hooked..

Noticed the freezer was running low on fillets yesterday so myself and my winter roommate formulated a plan to take advantage of the conditions and restock on Walleye this afternoon. Mission accomplished 😊

Taking tomorrow off as the winds look a little excessive. Hoping for another Steelie trip Thursday to finish off my holidays...

It will run in 2 inches of water no problem and slide over exposed rocks, logs, gravel bars if necessary. Its pretty well unstoppable besides heavy weeds which will clog the intake. I've mistakenly run directly over exposed boulders with barely a scrape and have seen videos of guys jumping beaver dams at full throttle.

We're did you buy that from?
The boat is a Solar 470sj, made in Siberia 😉 I ordered through a distributor in Alaska but can't recommend doing business with them myself. There is a distributor in BC that sells basic models that lack a few features my boat has. If I ordered another (which I may in the near future 😄) I would contact River Ridge Ventures in the Carolinas as a first option. Driving down to pick up in person from them would be doable.

Good going Josh, have had a tough season on northern tribs, glad you found some, there's hope! Lol.
