I also got my order today 20 duty fee grand total for 5 is 102 bucks Canadian come by post office no free one for me sure hope to get out there soon a give them a go

I didn.t know about the brokerage fee until the UPS driver was at my door. Dreamweaver and 307fish stuff all came without the brokerage fee. Oh well its been paid so these AC shiners are lasting me for life.

I ordered 4 ac shiners from their site. Tracking package update was amazing. Shipped to my address through Canada post.Paid no brokerage fee.Also they sent me a free one.Bonus. $50.80USD =$66.58 Cdn.

AC shiner site says free shipping on orders over $30.I would not be happy with a 46 dollar surcharge.

You must have ordered them from the States. Anything that has to come through the border usually has to go through customs and it gets charged a brokerage feee for they have to handle the package and charge duty.

you really have to watch not just the shipping company, but specificly what service is being used as some include brokerage fees and other do not. ie. fedex air with tracking usually includes brokerage fees (you still have to pay duty if it's required), but fedex ground does not include brokerage fees.
I find UPS to be the worst and USPS (US PostalService) the best.

I ordered right from ac shiner in Ohio.Shipped with amazing tracking through USPS,then Canada post delivered to my mailbox. Says free shipping on site as i previously mentioned.

A nice find @Extra Virgin and I just checked all of my AC Shiner’s,and I don’t have one of those,and I have never seen one like the one you have in your hand. I wouldn’t use it for fishing if I were you,just in case a pike takes it and breaks your line!! Take good care of your “collectable” AC shiner!!
