Good luck on the last day of the walleye season to all,if you are fishing here today in Zone 16 east of Chatham. The fishing has been slow recently in this area, not due to the crowds of Anglers,(no one is around),but because of the lower and clearer water conditions that we are experiencing right now.Either way,I have managed to catch some walleye’s recently, but I have hiked to different spot’s to find them, today I will be hiking a lot & trying different spots again. Some photo’s from my last few trip’s out on the Thames river. The Walleye’s are there & Good Luck to All,& Walleye’s ON!! ????

Took my boy out for the last kick at the can and he picked up this beauty...proud of his decision to let it go....just shy of 6 pounds. I think the belly itself weighed a couple...
Nice to read that your boy let it go @j-man.There have been a few females caught that others (and myself have released-photo),over the last few weeks of Walleye fishing on the Thames river, and it will definitely help to improve our Fishery for years to come!! ????

Went out for few hours. No walleye but did get a 6 lb pike that was a shock
Nice Catch @SonsOfPerchin That is a nice size Pike for the Thames, and I personally haven’t caught a pike for quite sometime on the Thames, and I also would be shocked,if I ever did hook into one around that size and larger. ????

good for him.nice fish too.

@SonsOfPerchin @Red Hering I dunno If you guys heard but there was a musky caught at the fork of the thames last summer (i think it was in the 30" range?)
Yes @HotPickle,I did hear about the musky being caught at the fork of the thames last summer.Since the Springbank Dam has been out of commission, there has been a few species of fish caught that you normally would not see while fishing the thames river.I have even heard a few year’s ago,a Salmon was caught below Fanshawe Dam.????

This was the pike my friend caught a couple weeks ago down there.
I know that spot (lol) down by the Komoka bridge,& where are the crowd of angler’s!! (lol) & Nice Pike caught by your friend Adam,@Cam Reeves! It was nice to meet up with you both that morning & to fish together for a few hours.Tight lines & please keep in touch. ????

Your bringing your son up right if he’s releasing fish to continue to breed. Good for him and good for you for doing a nice job raising your kids. Oh nice fish!!!
