Are the ceramic washers on the bottom end gear case reusable if they are clean ?

I replace mine every time I change the Gear Lube. As well as the washers on the oil drain screw. For only a few $, its not worth water getting inside the gear unit.

My thoughts exactly. I was told that you could but why would you.

You can resue ceramic fasteners and washers providing they havent been over torqued to begin with. They hold up quite well. Unlike a copper or brass washes which should be changed once its crushed .
