Winds = waves?

Hey guys, thinking of hitting the water in the morning. There calling for 15 km/h south winds. Just wondering what kind of waves I should be expecting?

Predicting waves...no one is 100%.
However, since it's calm now, 15k s should build to about a foot. noaa does a decent prediction of waves, dark blue ok, anything else is rough. http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs/glcfs.php?lake=l&ext=wv&type=F&hr=01. A current wave measuring bouy is out 15-20 km http://weather.gc.ca/marine/weather..._e.html?mapID=11&siteID=07503&stationID=45132 Whatever it says, double it and will be about right. watch past 24 hr conditions to see if it's building or flattening.
Horty also has a look out his window most mornings and posts what he sees. Sticky at top.
