Where to launch?

I was hoping to take the kids down for some panfish out of long point. Is the Old Cut my best bet to launch? Also I understand that there is a sanctuary, is the sanctuary clearly marked?

Yes old cut is probably your best. And in the past they have floating sign markers out. Have not ventured out that far yet this year so I cannot say for sure this year.

Sanctuary markers are already out on the west side of the boundary. I did not see any on the east side (but my eyes were closed and other things clenched as we crossed the sandbar in @Three Bouys ' sWellcraft)
