Hope someone can help! Going to Lion's Head next weekend any advice on where to do some fishing from shore and what would be main species to target as i have never been up that way.... Not taking the boat... So a decent spot on shore to try for some action would be great. Thanks guys in advance for any and all info

Hey knapptime best shore fishin at your time line is owen sound harbour fishin the salmon at night...castin glow in the dark cleos along the SE breakwall..there is a nice spot to park with lights and sidewalk....there will be others there...just yell out fish on and then in a bit need a net...someone will help you with a very long landing net to land your salmon...if you can get some fresh spawn to tie some up and for chummin..
another tip with your glow in the darks is to light them up with the high beams on your car every so often..
Call watsons tackle house in Owen Sound for action...there helpful & honest...
Meaford at the mouth of the big head River is another go to spot off the rock pile...
Lions' Head has been dead for years...trollin the deep water adjacent to the sheer cliff for summer salmon was the norm ...check out the grey bruce outdoors site...the locals will tell how slow its been...
