Wheatley trip

JWalsh and I, along with some other stragglers (we were team central basin) went down to fish in the Wheatley big boyz tourney for my bachelor party. Unfortunately we only got on the water once due to inclement weather but we certainly made the best of it boating 21 eyes and 1 bow on Friday morning. Lots of cold beverages consumed and we had one hell of a fish fry. Thanks to the guys on here giving us the pointers, between that and some local tips we really hit it right.

I seen some pics of the catch on Sat. when I picked up a down rigger from JWalsh's father.

Sure was some hot fishing down there in the western basin and a great bachelor party! They don't have the size fish we do in the LP/Burwell area, but man, the quantity sure is there! All fished ranged from 1.5lb-6lbs and the bow was 6.5lbs. Great eaters, as the fish fry showed that night, i'm still full lol!
