I have a boat of the finest crew looking to go fishing Saturday. We have a tin bucket of a boat that can go up rivers and lake.
Other then the Detroit River any other hot spots ??

I have a stag and doe Saturday night......but if I don't indulge toooo much, I hope to go back to the Detroit River Sunday. I made my first trip 3 weeks ago now, and there are guys out there with 14ft-16ft aluminium boats. If you have a trolling motor,,you should be ok. Boat controls is difficult to figure out, but don't let the river intimidate you. Pretty cool to see. Fishing in front of Joe Louis arena, casino Windsor, the big mines, big lake freighters. Pretty cool indeed.
 
Looks like a nice weekend coming up so I think its time for the first trip of the year. Can anyone tell me of a good launch thats not far from a good fishing spot on the Detroit R
 
@stomp , I looked at the webcam you posted earlier on the Detroit river thread. You can see them fishing right in front of Joe Louis Arnea right now. Looks calm and sunny in Windsor/Detroit. I hope I'm not too hung over Sunday....lol.
 
Angling Outfitters has all the jig heads for the Detroit river in all the latest colours along with the stinger hooks to increase your catch .
Trust this helps you increase your catch .

A little help please. Which "webcam" is it. I don't know the area. Thanks in advance.
 
Go to stomps' main page, and open the interactive map, filter webcams, and move your cursor to windsor. There will be a picture of a camera on the map, click the camera, and it will take you to the site. Once you are there, it is a little clunky to use the camera, you have to click on the crosshairs to gain access to the camera. Once it's your turn, you have 1 minute to look around , controlling the camera. You don't have to take control of the guy ahead of you is looking at what you want to look at. But once you figure it out it is pretty cool. I wish you hand longer than one minute to control it, 5 would be better.

The Detroit river is hot Joslyn has all the latest for fishing the river , have one or two left for you . L O L
