Albert and I headed to the Lighthouse area this morning and fished around "Piggott's Post" which is a gas well named many years ago for the Late John Piggott (Canvasback). It's north of the light in the area where the depth drops rapidly from 45 to more than 100 fow. We caught 3 walleye, a nice bow and a bunch of white bass in about three hours of effort with 4 rods. Two down-riggers and 2 dipsy's. All the fish except two bass came off the #1 dipsy's 90 feet back on #3. The walleye were spitting up smelt and the commercial draggers were working all around us. Winds were calm and surface temp climbed from 64 to 70 F while we were there.
