On Fri July 8 , took the wife to Long Point launch. Headed out near E. C. 10 on our way to Pottahawk. Stopped several times to checkd for fish. On our run to Pottahak the final time were going near full out when the motor went slower and slower, then quit. Could not see any reason, so we drift fished while checking. Finally decided to head bach to the launch, but before calling for assistance, checked it again and finally found out that it would idle on starting but had to be quickdly jammed into full forward to keep it running at idle. Quit lots of times, but made it back at idle after 2 hours. That's fishing. Luckily I had just charged up the batteries, and the water conditions were nice. It's booked for the marina for Wednesday.
