out of old cut...fished my favorite spot close 2 old cut, nothing,,,,tried lots of spots out 2 ec10,nothin,, came back in across frum Acres & strated getting small 1's...got 14 & 2 nice rock bass 2 take home....ready 2 leave,,pullcord wouldn't catch,,, 1 guy near us just left 10 or 15 mins earlier......
many phone calls latr,got a guy 2 come out & get us 4 $200.00....... xpensive fish Thurs

A cell phone is real important but my kicker engine has saved my butt a few times over the years. It's real nice to have if you fish early or late season. New engines are pretty reliable but I've had major grief with defective kill switches in recent years. I've also been involved in towing someone in most years therefore we are not out of the dark ages yet.
 
Ya Arn,,that's prob not a bad idea,,,l know some1 who just might part with 1...o that note I think l will make a call...Thanks 4 the idea...

In many arewas you can use *16 for Coast Guard as well!
 
Jeez...for $200 I would have drove from Brantford to tow you in. Did he at least buy you some food and a beer with your money when you got back to shore?
