I'm not exactly sure whether I agree with this post or not....."can't hardly understands it!"

"Hookd on fonix werked fer me!"

I think thats a "run-on" sentence...

Either way not a good situation.

Everybody poops...even hogs. I know one thing for sure,the grands loaded with carp,they'll clean up that pig manure like a super sucker!

Quinner...lmao....I think you're right about the run-on sentence. :)
Does make you think what goes in the water, though.

Fisherman;

Can you post a link to that article as I'm having a hard time finding anything about it ? Best I got was an old reference to a Linwood area pig farmer that was charged and convicted. He got 30 days in jail and a 350,000 dollar fine !

FYI; The town of Port Rowan has had upgrades done to their sewage treatment system which is in the process of commissioning right now and it should greatly improve it's Final Effluent.It's a shame that it takes a tragedy like Walkerton to make the goverment spend money on something we need.

what does pig manure have to do with whether or not the fish is consumable. pretty sure the most neg impact is the O2 depleation

It took a few minutes but I tracked down a few links. The story is from 2009.

Wicket not only the O2 depletion but there is a lot of bacteria and other nasty things when your talking a spill of any decent size. It could also affect the taste of the fish being caught from that area if they are exposed long enough

A bad days fishing better than good days work.
