Sunday Port Burwell

Fished Port Burwell Sunday, heard at the ramp that eyes were being caught sw in 55 feet. headed out a little west and stopped in 55 feet to see what the fish finder was showing. The screen was light up so we gave it a shot. We got all 6 rods in the water without a fish. Finally picked up a eye and then a bow headed out deeper to 59' but that water was dead. Went back in and fished 56-57 feet which seemed to be the best. Ended with 4 eyes and 3 bows. 1 eye and 1 bow on the 8 color off the boards orange toad. The rest of the fish off the riggers 42 & 52 feet down blue berry and bloody death. All packed up by 11:00am and a short ride back in.

Nice fishing guy's, that one bow looks like it would fit perfect into a frying pan I have here.

We had a similar day. Went west and stayed in 55 - 58 fow. 4 bows and three eyes. Dropped a few. 10 core was by far the best. A couple on 5 colour and riggers but dipsys didn't move at all, until one hit during a triple header of bows at the end of our day.
