Muggzi and I towed to Burwell in the pouring rain . Arrived at the launch and no other boats. Well rain wasnt going to stop us ! Ride out was bumpy but by the time we got to 61fow due south it had stopped . Some big rollers and a confused sea so we set off on a north east tack. Nothing for about 1 hr then a rigger at 41 ft fired.8 lb bow and the skunk was out of the boat . Very distinct thermocline at 41 42 ft with temps going from 74.5 to 55 degrees over 1/2 foot! Finally got a program going with boat speed 2.7-3 mph leadcore 9 colour and knockout in nascar .2 bows on riggers,1 broke the hooks on tequeila sunrise and the other just went ballistic and jumped off. 12 walleye all on core a .couple double headers. Lots of woolies so we had to check all lines regularly. Lake laid down no wind no rain lovely day except for the biting flies . Muggzi had fun. Didnt like the core rods so much ! Great day on the water Reel Therapy..

Thanks for the numbers Real Therapy. The lead core is a pain for sure but is consistently the best tool in the box for putting fish in the cooler in August.
