Hi All,
I went out from 3:30 to 5:45pm yesterday. Fishing in front of Booths in about 4FOW, water was very murky. Bite was slow and didnt catch a thing until about 4:30. The bite picked up a bit, but water was so murky I coulnt really tell what was biting. Ended up keeping 3 jumbos, but I also hooked into a big surprise. At about 5:20 I hooked into something big, I couldnt see what it was, but it was taking line out, fought it for a couple minutes and eventually saw a big bucketmouth come up through my hole. I quickly wieghed it (2.5LBS), snapped a photo and realeased it! What a great fight and surprise to end the hardwater season.
