Started off a snowy frigid morning, when we got on the ice, the snow finally quit @ 7:15 a.m. At 7:20 we arrived at hut minnows swimming, instant fish! Tons of 6 inch dinks, there were a few worthy of keeping 8 inches and up. By 11:30 the decision was made to induce hot oil treatments that proved satisifying, good thing we had lunch, cause never caught enough for supper. The afternoon proved to us, that minnows can survive being punctured in the head and keep on wiggling for hours. Meanwhile a catergory 2 gale force wind the kind you only see on Saturdays was whistling, we preservered til the last call for rides from our fearless guide, we graciously donated our daily catch to another couple whose luck was better than ours so in total their catch tallied well over 25 beauties. But really, it was a great way to spend the day on Long Point Bay!
