Hi.
I am heading to St. Clair In a couple of weeks and I am wondering if anyone has any reports on the Muskie fishing. I have been told that the lake water is quite a bit higher this year, how does this effect the muskie?
We primarily cast the Mitchell's Bay area , any help would greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mike

We were in the Belle River area last week and took two off the hump while drift bass fishing. One spotted that wa likely high 30's maybe 40", and a smaller tiger. Both came in about 16 fow...

south shore is the musky waters...out from lighthouse cove to the 240 hole..you will see numerous boats trolling the flats this weekend for musky

Thanks Mick, I have trolled the south shore in the past with some success .
I prefer to cast for the monsters. I find it a lot more exciting . What I was wondering was how the high water has changed the fishing?

Tues I was straight out from the cove about 7 miles in 19-20 fow trolling dew worm harnesses and a monster muskie tried to eat my little orange planer board pretty wild!
