My wife & I decided to put our domestic turkey in our smoker again yesterday for a change of taste,instead of cooking our turkey in our household oven again,like we had done so as well on Christmas Day many times before.We used hickory wood chips for smoking on this turkey,but in the past,we have also used other wood chips,such as cherry,mesquite,etc. Our smoker is a very old easy to use Brinkmann smoker that we use,and it runs on propane gas,and which we have owned now for many yearโs. It was originally bought from Cabelaโs in Michigan,USA through their catalog system back then,and shipped to us here in London,Ontario. This Brinkmann smoker also does trout & salmon,etc.,especially well also. Hoping that everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend,with plenty of good food with family & friends.
