Fished yesterday between channel and Millionaire's island, caught our 2 man limit in an hour.
we probably caught 30 small mouth bass. we tried fishing around EC10 for perch with minnows and continued to catch bass including this 5.1 lb one. Great day.

What was the bait or lure of choice ?

#5 flicker shads, trolling and then live minnows with a blade after when we were searching for the elusive perch.

I had luck trolling with natural colour scatter raps the last few weekends. The warmer water seemed to be where they were more active. Good luck

@the General thanks for the informative report! Would you mind explaining what you mean by a "blade" with a minnow?

we use a hook, a couple of beads and a small Colorado blade with a live minnow for perch. it works for us for perch and you can get bass and pike if they are in the area too.

Where you guys fish for perch in the bay?

We tried around EC 8 (no luck) and south of EC 10 but just got a couple of dinks and rock bass, and the smallies were following us around of course.
