Fishing Report Smallmouth Oct 20 & 27

Smallie season is just starting to get good. Got out once last week and also today. Water is still 56F. Landed 16 last week but got 24 or so today. Looking forward to the month of Nov.

Didn't realize the smallies were already vulnerable to late season strategies. Well, there is always next year.
Congrat's and best of luck in November. It requires lots of patience to keep days free from other commitments this time of year. I just give up by the end of October.

Wow, Congratulation! smallies are huge. Never fishing small late in Nov. Are they in deep water or shallow?

Typically deep. There is a window in the fall where some of the bass move very shallow to feed on baitfish but it is short-lived.

Nice chunky smallies......must feel like hooking a cent block...lol. Worth every hour you put in!
