small mouth in the bay ?

Planning to take my wife's 92 year young grandfather out tomorrow for some small mouth. I haven't been on the bay yet this year. Any suggestions on where I can start looking for them and/or current reports ? I'd really like to get him hooked into a few fish ! Thx very much.

Look for the charter boats because if anyone knows where the SM are in real time, it's those guys.

Charter boats are first look.
As of yesterday there were still alot of bass land side of second set
of red/green channel markers.In almost 1/4 mile to point ,north about 200 yards. 10 to 12 fow but reads 6 to 8 over weed beds. they seem to be sitting in or on edge of weed beds and attack anything along edge. Hard to fish if very windy though.

in the channel near EC5 with leaches is always a good spot to try or closer to EC10 in the channel. anchor up if too rough to drift.
