Shrimp

Has any one tried shrimp for perch have any luck ....ty

I have ate shrimp with perch......never fished for them with it. Emerald shiners in part or whole work best & when you run out of them, use the perch eyes to catch more.

I have used shrimp for cats but that is about it never used them for perch

I only use shrimp for me. The way those little rascals suck back lunch I'm not about to feed them my expensive shrimp! Nothing works better than Emerald Shiners and they are much, much cheaper.

I have tried it using store bought frozen shrimp after seeing it on fishing 411,Mark Romanack was having success on using store bought shrimp for perch.My luck wasn't good at all.While everybody was catching perch on shiners I thought I would try shrimp,i gave it a 15minute try then switched back to shiners.

I have used small pieces of frozen shrimp and it will work quite well but not as well as the shiners

Too expensive to feed dink perch with, plus they don't work anywhere as well as Emerald shiners, if at all.
