Salmon and Trout fishing in Port Franks

Hi everyone. New to fishing in port franks and was wondering what depth i might find salmon and trout at and what everyone uses to target them and the best time of day to catch them. Hoping to go up there with the kids later this month. Thanks for any help!

Hey good place to start is about 50’have one rigger set about 5’ off the bottom, abs if you run a stacker or slider, about 15’ upfrom that, early morning midday and evening work great spoons work well 3’ and magnums greens , blue and silver, whites and greens blacks and greens . Troll out to 80’ but should hit fish around 65’-69’

I agree 100% with Floatin Rig. If you are struggling I’d even run out to 100-110 FOW and run a bait 5ft off the bottom. Lots of lakers out there!
