Oh was it a beautiful day to be on the water today! You just couldn't have asked for better!
My Daughter Megan and my buddy Bill and I had a great time!
Fished all over the place this morning.
Went out to 38 ft east of the pier and a few bites and a couple of fish were caught here!
Moved out to 48 ft and a couple of bites but nothing produced and water temp was 46.8 degrees
Moved back in to 33 ft and west of Bruce and this is where we were bringing fish in the boat! Water temp here was a warmer 48.7 degrees and more fish for sure! Nice size catch for us was around the 25 to 30 fish as we thru back anything under the 10" mark a couple were kept as they took the hook too deep!
Lots of gobbies for the taking as well!
And it was good to see a lot of boats out today!
So if we would have boated a fish for every bite we would have ended our day well over the 50 or 60 fish but I was just great to be out and a fish fry for tonight!
