We started around 7am in 55 fow and put 4 in the box within an a hour or so then it went silent...😮 We kept working the area hoping they start to fire again but each pass my screen was getting bare. I decided to move in closer to 40 to 45 fow and my screen lit up and rods starting firing 😃. It was non stop till noonish and put our 2 man limit in the box. We lost a bunch 🙄 and threw back a couple small ones to get bigger. My nephew got his personal best 9.4 lbs and was very happy 😃..all the others were 3 to 6 lbs. Running harnesses down just off bottom going 2.25 mph which is a little faster than what I usually go but that's what was working. I was also out mid week with my wife and father inlaw and boxed 12 plus another double digit 10.1 lbs. 😃🍻🎣

Launch by the pier is a paid launch (not sure how much they charge)
Launch upriver is free, good for boats up to 18’ I’d say. The dock is short. I seen a charter use it but he had to tie his boat off to the end of the dock.

I've never fished the east end of Erie. Where is the boat launch there?
There is 4 public launches..2 are in town of dunnville by the dam I think they charge 15 to 20 bucks to use decent launches. 2 more at the mouth of river by piers on either side of river I believe they're free. I'm a member of a private marina not open to the public. 🍻🎣

Wow nice catch GF. We went out Sunday morning which was my first time on the water in over a month, headed straight out and fished between 68 and 72 fow, which was were we first started marking them. Only caught 1 walleye, lost another 3 and also caught two perch. A lot of work fighting the waves and wind for that one fish but always worth it. I'd like to think the weather had them lock jawed but who knows. Hoping to get out this week and hopefully a bit calmer so can spend more time searching a bit shallower this time.
