Well made the short trek today from Burlington to Burwell with a good friend of mine from work. Now that we are both retired we could do a little fishing and catch up on our lives. Lake Erie did not disappoint! We started in 59ft of water due south of the port and had lines in at 7:30 a.m. We were using Big Dipsies #3-setting back 85 and 90ft. using Emerald-RRF and Blueberry Muffin-Michigan Stinger spoons. We trolled mostly north and south and got our 2-man limit by 1030 a.m. Not a bad outing for us. Our trolling speed was 2.9-3.0 m.p.h. Good Luck to everyone fishing Burwell.
