Got the boat in the water for the first time and headed out Sunday afternoon. Hardly marked a thing all the way out to 63' so I decided to turn back and troll in. Screen showed the odd fish, but no great amounts at all.
Saw a few more smaller bait balls in the 32-35' area and ended the day with 3 very small eyes, which are now getting more time in the lake to grow up. One on lead core with 5 colours and a redfin, and the other 2 on dipsys 70' on #3 setting. One on nascar, and one on wonderbread. Neither were big enough to trip the dipsy or even create enough action on the rod to show they were there. Regardless, it was awesome to get out for the first time even if it was a little cold and rainy. Good thing was there were no bugs.
