Hey everyone, it's been awhile since last post.
Fished out of Port Bruce Saturday June 18th. Pulled up to North Erie Marina to a line-up, but Greg and the boys run that show like a well oiled machine. In the water and out to the lake quick time. Anchored away from the pack east of three trees, nothing. Heard on radio that things were tough, but lake was like glass...so up on plane to the windmills in short order!
Anchored at the 7th, 27 feet of water and we were on them. Not super fast action but a keeper every 6-8 minutes giving us 51 really nice take home fish...some in the 12-14" range. Light bite, there is a trick to it!!
Back to launch, onto trailer with help from Greg's boys and home we go to clean our catch. Awesome day out there. Stomachs were bloated with shiners and gobies, definitely not on a bug diet this week!
